Potential Interview with my Congressman!

Friday, October 16, 2009
With the controversy swirling about health care reform, from both sides of the isle, I thought it might help my readers, and indeed anyone who is interested in this debate, if I could get some information "from the horse's mouth." That desire led me to write my Congressman for an interview.

While the details are far from decided, it looks like an interview is at least possible! So here's what I'd like from you: I have a list of questions ready to go for the Congressman regarding health care reform, but I'd like to hear from you on it! What do you think I should ask? Are there burning questions that I might not be thinking about? If so, let me know in the comments section!

Do we have the best healthcare system in the world?

What's wrong with the current way we do healthcare?

If 58% of Americans oppose this, do you still think it's a good idea? Are you going to vote for it?

Does think move us closer to being a socialist country instead of a capitalist Democracy? Does that concern you?

Dusty, I am so sorry I didn't comment on this until tonight! I had already submitted my list of questions to the Congressman, but I like some of these and during our negotiations over the final list I may very well include some. Thank you so much for your thoughts!
